Born in Turkey, Charles's early years were shaped by a passion for football, including a brief period with Bakırköyspor. This early discipline laid a foundation for his future career.
His journey continued in London, where he moved to study English at Burlington School. This period marked a pivotal transition, setting the stage for his entry into the dynamic world of hospitality.
Learning Hospitality from the Inside
Charles honed his craft at Café Rouge, progressing through restaurant operations, management, and recruitment. He was instrumental in 21 new site openings, coordinating teams and systems across multiple locations.
